Cliff was born and raised in Ballinger, Texas. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Government from Angelo State University and his Doctor of Jurisprudence from St. Mary’s University School of Law. After law school, Cliff began working in oil and gas law, focusing on title examination. Through this experience, Cliff saw the problems and issues businesses and families faced due to improper planning which is what drove him to focus on estate planning and business advising. Cliff and his wife, Kara, were married in 2006. They moved to New Braunfels in 2007 and have lived there since then. They have two daughters, Kalynn and Kelsey. Cliff enjoys helping create estate plans, advising businesses, sharing good conversation over cigars and bourbon, fly fishing, hunting and spending as much time as possible with family.
