A Line Cook at Papa Dante’s Restaurant will be entrusted to help prepare meals in accordance with our established recipes. You will be responsible for food preparation, portion control, and cooking meals per order, while maintaining a sanitized work area. We are seeking individuals who have experience in the food service industry and are committed to impeccable food presentation.
We are looking for someone with the willingness and ability to cross train and work in multiple positions. This training and flexibility will help us to function as a team, as well as enabling you to become well trained in multiple areas.
Skills: Multi-tasking, organization skills, and ability to follow directions, high level of professionalism, comfortable working with a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Job Qualifications: Must be reliable and willing to learn, any culinary education is a plus!
Physical Demands: Remain on your feet for several hours at a time, be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds, ability to withstand higher temperatures, bend, kneel, and stoop
Please note that Papa Dante's will be opening a new event center, Bella on the Vine, set to open in November 2018. The event center will feature a banquet hall that will seat up to 300 people, a tavern with a bar and food, and an outdoor courtyard with bocce ball courts. We will need a strong and reliable kitchen team to assist in catering and filling kitchen needs in both establishments.
