11th Annual Wilenchik Walk for Life

Description

Walking in support of the many programs of the UT Health San Antonio MD Anderson Cancer Center, the 11th Annual Wilenchik Walk for Life event serves to bring awareness for cancer research.

Participants gather to remember family members lost to cancer and to honor those still fighting. The 5K event travels from Samuel Clemens High School, along Community Circle Dr, onto Schertz Parkway to the turnaround point at Jonas Dr for the return trip to the school.

Check-in/registration begins at 8:00 AM
Welcome and warm-up begin at 8:30 AM
Fun Run/Walk begins at 9:00 AM

Register at Active.com or in person at the City of Schertz Parks and Recreation Office, 10 Commercial Place, Bldg 1.

Participation Fees:
5K Walk - $20.00 per person (ages 13 and older)
5K Run - $25.00 per person (all ages)
Team - $15.00 per person (minimum of 6 participants)
* Registration by February 1, 2019 guarantees an event t-shirt.
